How your monthly donation will make a difference:

£10 a month could fund a meal and refreshments for an Activity Club participant.
£30 a month could fund a vulnerable patient's transport to hospital appointments.
£50 a month could support a participant joining the Memory Café for those who have memory loss.

FAQ’s for Friends of Seachange

Can you be a member if you live overseas?

Yes! Wherever you live, you can be a Friend of Seachange. Living overseas does make it difficult to post through. So, we send the welcome letter digitally.

When will my welcome letter arrive?

We aim to get your welcome letter sent to you within 10 days of joining as a Friend of Seachange.

Can I gift a Donation?

We don’t currently gift Friend of Seachange but watch this space.

What do you do with my personal information?

We are committed to protecting your personal information and being transparent about what we do with it. You can find out all the details in our Privacy Policy.

How do I update my contact details, such as my address or phone number?

Just get in touch with our team at help@seachangedevon.org or 01395 446896, and we will help you!

Can I change the amount I donate?

Of course. We understand circumstances change, so you can always change the amount you donate. Just contact help@seachangedevon.org or 01395 446896, and we will help you!

How long does being a Friend of Seachange last?

Your donation will be billed monthly.

Can I gift aid my membership fee?

Yes, you can gift aid 25p to every £1 you donate.

To be eligible to sign up for gift aid you must be a UK taxpayer and understand that if you pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in that tax year, it is your responsibility to pay any difference.

All we need from you is a single Gift Aid declaration, which will not only cover your future donations but also donations you have made for the past 4 years. To make your declaration, you can either:

Please remember to inform us if you have changed your name and address, or no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains tax, either by completing our online inquiry form or calling us on 01395 446896.
