Podiatry
Podiatrists are healthcare professionals who have been trained to diagnose and treat conditions of the feet and lower limbs.
They keep people mobile and active, relieve pain and treat infections. They can also give advice on how to look after your feet and what type of shoes to wear.
They can also treat and alleviate day-to-day foot problems such as:
- Toenail problems, such as thickened toe nails, fungal nail infections and ingrown toe nails.
- Flat feet
- Corns and calluses
- Bunions
- Verruca's
- Sports injuries
- Athlete's foot
- Diabetic foot assessment, management and treatment
- Dry and cracked heels
Both NHS and Private Podiatry services run at the Hub.

TALKWORKS
Devon Partnership Trust provide their Talkworks service at Seachange
Talkworks - Improving your Mental and Physical Wellbeing
If you are struggling with low mood, anxious thoughts, sleep difficulties or aren’t quite feeling yourself, help is available. TALKWORKS is a free and confidential NHS Talking Therapies service, here to help adults over the age of 18, living in Devon (outside Plymouth which is covered by Plymouth Talking Therapies), improve their mental and physical wellbeing. Treatment and support includes one-to-one sessions with a therapist, interactive group courses, wellbeing workshops, live text-based therapy and access to online self-help.
You do not need a referral from a GP to access TALKWORKS’ services, you can refer yourself online or over the phone. For more information on the different treatment options and therapy services, please visit the TALKWORKS website or call 0300 555 3344.
MSK Physiotherapy
MSK Physiotherapy is provided by RDE Foundation Trust
Physiotherapy is all about helping you to maintain, improve and maximise your movement and ability. We use physical approaches to promote, maintain and restore physical, psychological and social well-being.
Physiotherapists help people with a range of conditions, particularly those associated with the neuro-muscular, musculo-skeletal, cardio-vascular and respiratory systems; providing advice, treatment, rehabilitation, health promotion and support behavioural change.
We use manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and other physical approaches in response to individual need.
We work with different patient groups, including children, the working population and older people.
At our core is the patient’s involvement in their own care, through education, awareness, empowerment and participation in their treatment.

Chime Audiology
Chime Audiology are Specialist hearing experts who run weekly clinics at Seachange
Chime are a not-for-profit Community Interest Company contracted by the NHS to offer adult and children’s audiology services across in Exeter, Mid & East Devon.
Offering hearing tests to both adults and children free at the point of service. Hearing tests are quick, accurate, personalised assessments, which are usually completed within 15-30 minutes by an experienced audiologist. Results and a way forward are discussed following assessment.
Chime also provide a hearing aid repair service.
Budleigh Salterton Medical Practice
Our local GP Practice
Budleigh Salterton Medical Practice are at the heart of Seachange and have been deeply involved in our original set up and development. They run nurse and Health Care Assistant led clinics everyday and minor procedures conducted by GP's.
