Melanie

Melanie is a Home Support Assistant for Sea Support at Seachange. After 30 years of experience as a Dementia Nurse Specialist in the community, she is passionate about enabling people to retain their independence and stay in their own homes for as long as possible. She enjoys visiting people at home, helping where needed eg. enabling people to do their shopping and offering companionship. She loves working in and for the local community and is proud to be part of this new Seachange initiative. Outside work she enjoys watching live theatre and musicals, travelling the world and experiencing different cultures, taking boat trips, seeing wildlife in its natural habitat and at home adores her two cats Millie and Bounty!
